A federal lawsuit was recently filed against the state of Arizona, specifically the Departments of Child Safety and Health Services, claiming that the system is not properly caring for the state’s most vulnerable children. There were even allegations that children had slept at state offices because there weren’t enough shelter beds and foster homes available to them.

There is a nonprofit organization we proudly support, Crisis Nursery, that aims to put a stop to this and to provide the type of caring and safe shelter that children deserve. We’d like to thank each and every person who stopped by to take a test drive for charity at Crisis Nursery K’s for Kids Walk/Run!
